The rugged coastal landscapes of Acadia National Park comprise some of the grandest scenery on the east coast, from the high summit of Cadillac Mountain to the rocky shores and forested islands that rise above the Gulf of Maine. Our classic hypsometric tints are overlaid on beautiful shaded relief and complimented by hand-placed labels for mountains, points, lakes, bays, and other geographic features. Roads and trails are shown along with major points of interest within the park, helping to orient the viewer and spark memories of previous adventures in Acadia. Beyond the park's boundaries, a softer shaded relief hints at the surrounding landscape. Roads and gateway communities are illustrated with faded hues, providing geographic context for Acadia without distracting from the park itself.
